Maintenance Agreements
When installation is complete, CDS Emergency Power Services will send paperwork (letter, contract and inspection form) that outlines the maintenance agreement specifics. Approximately 10-14 days after this paperwork is sent to the customer, our customer service representatives, will follow-up with a phone call to the customer if an agreement has not been purchased.
The owners manual recommends regular critical maintenance of your generator, just like your car. CDS Emergency Power Services has developed a comprehensive critical maintenance program to ensure your generator works at the most important times for you. This agreement includes the following:
- Two (2) visits per year at six (6) month intervals
- A twenty-nine (29) point inspection
- Replacement of items under warranty
- A leave behind service form that details our work
CDS Emergency Power Services also offers Break-In service for a generator. Every Generac generator is manufactured with factory oil. Generac recommends that every unit also have a break-in service. This service further ensures that the unit is functioning properly.
